ACD Direct was founded in 2000 as a brick and mortar business focusing on customer service and product returns of one of the biggest computer manufactures in the world. ACD Direct utilized virtual business tactics to grow their company in order to offer services to a clients in varies fields. ACD Direct is based out of Layton, Utah.

ACD Direct currently has over 1000 work at home agents and is always looking for qualified candidates to fill their work at home jobs. Requirements to work for ACD Direct as an work from home agent are as follows: must have call center experience, must have a dedicated phone line, must have a high quality computer, must have high speed Internet, must have a quiet home office, must complete all training before taking calls and must stay up to date on all training & resources.

ACD Direct’s work at home jobs are independent contractor positions. This means that agents are paid by the minute spend talking to customers on the phone. It is each independent agents responsibility to invoice ACD Direct in order to be paid. All of ACD Direct’s work at home agents are fully responsible to paying their own taxes and maintaining records. As independent contractors, agents have the flexibility to work the number of hours and schedule they choose.

ACD Direct’s independent agent position is a “no fee” work at home job. This means that ACD Direct doesn’t charge a fee to work for them. However, there will be costs associated with working from home that are solely the responsibility of each independent contractor. All computer & phone equipment, Internet costs, background & credit checks and phone service is the responsibility of the agent.
